Groms will one day grow up to be the pro riders they admire (well, some of them anyway). We love seeing young riders shred hard and a recent video circulating the world of social saw one of these groms riding mini-Rampage lines. We know exactly where his head is at! It’s time to meet the Outlaw Bike Team!
Just so we’re all on the same page, this is the video we’re talking about!
Got it? Cool. So now let’s find out who this Outlaw Bike Team actually is. We caught up with Tyson Henrie, one of the founders, for a little chat and he sent us a few bios! Make sure to follow these young shredders as they’re going to be doing things very big, very soon!
“We are a youth downhill team from Utah, USA. Our focus is teaching kids how to ride as fast as possible, stay injury free, and to dream BIG,” says Tyson.
With over 30 riders on the team, the schedule is full up for them, travelling across the country to ride bikes and to compete against the best riders in the world. Tyson adds that the team is still growing, and basically, anyone who rides two wheels and has BIG ambitions would fit right in, whether these are beginners in downhill, enduro, slopestyle and dual slalom or already seasoned “veterans”.
“Our athletes comprise the best riders in Utah,” says Tyson. Watching some of their videos and seeing some of those steezie photos, we’re inclined to agree.
“Our team is very competitive with over 15 very fast riders. Within those athletes, there are 6 that really stand out:”

“The rest are constantly battling for the top positions and attention. It’s a great crew of kids to ride with and they all support each other, while pushing each other to find their limits and then blow past them.”
Well, Tyson, one thing is clear – your riders just jumped to the top of our watch list of young rippers. We’ll be keeping a close eye!
