The bike is built from scratch by Simon Wojtaszek from the Bike Brothers team, from Dębica. The icing on the cake of the project is suspension, which makes sure that the bike won’t disappoint the rider in any conditions or situations.
Öhlins – BFG suspension Poland has prepared specifically for this project a fork constructed on the basis of FOX 40 from 2013. The first visible modification is a replacement of the original stanchions for the black ones coated with CompCote. Self-lubricating SKF seals and most importantly, the damper Ohlins STX modified especially for this project.
The shock has the slow return control- 24 clicks and the compression control-15 clicks. Steel spring is responsible for restoring an unit. Used oil is Endurance. In the case of the rear shock the choice has fallen on Ohlins TTX 22.
The shock with the twintube technology and the steel spring. 7 clicks- return, 15 clicks- slow compression and 3 positions for the fast compression. And on top of that the custom tuning.
Öhlins – BFG suspension Poland is one of the best services in Poland. They’re focused not only on bicycles, but most of the extreme sports disciplines that include competitive shocks. They have been working for several years with the winner of the Dakar- Rafał Sonik.
They’ve repeatedly won the title of Polish National Champion in a few disciplines- from bicycles to cars, quads and motorcycles. This year they’ve actively participated in the Endurance World Championship. You can see their shocks being used by the majority of the leading racers in Poland.
